2008 Seoul Day1

Got back my dc, finally. I just discovered that I didn't take many photos. The main purpose of this tour was not sightseeing, anyway.

Took a 0030 flight wasn't something easy. You may expect people sleeping all the way out. (Initially, I was one of them.) But then, you found out it was a totally disaster to be on that plane, given that:
1) they will serve meal at 0100 (and you have just eaten a whole plate of fried noodles beforehand and expect no one will disturb your sweet dream.)
2) the guy sitting near to you is so dumb that he has no idea how to switch out the light he accidentally turned on and leaves it switched on until you ask and help him to turn it off.
3) that guy keeps on calling the flight attendant to serve him drinks. (water, beer, coffee, you name it.)
4) OK. That guy is sleeping and... SNORING at the same time. And there is no mean to cover his snoring, let say switch on the audio/video....to the loudest level.

Therefore, I didn't sleep for the whole flight, not even a second.

Arrived at Seoul at 0500 (local time) and I was damn tired.

--> Spa World
The first place to go. Don't take it wrong, it's not the spa you find in Thailand. It's actually hanjeungmak汗蒸幕. The one that you usually see in the korean drama. I wanted to go there for sssoooo long. I didn't expect it to be hanjeungmak when I read the schedule, especially when the guide remained us to bring the swimwear. I was so surprised to hear the news from the local guide that it's hanjeungmak.

But after the nice flight, we went straight to the "sleeping room" and slept for 2.5 hours. (It looks exactly the same as the one I saw in drama.) Then we fooled around in each floor as well. A good place to experience their culture and found that they just love the stuffy feeling in the building. It's way too hot and dry for me. Pity that we couldn't take photo inside.

--> Dongdaemun

--> Insadong Ssamziegil

--> Myeongdong

Shopping, shopping~

--> Stay Seven Hotel

The tour guide described it as "Small. Extremely small. You wake up in the morning and take a step further. You are in the washroom." =.=

It turns out to be:

Differ from what the guide said. It's not extremely small. Far better than what I had expected. I just feel warm and got the feeling of "I'm home!". "(Or maybe we were just too tired.)

It's what really shocked me. Look at that class door. It didn't have a lock on it. Lucky that I went with someone I know well.
